South African Police have arrested and detained a a 42 year old woman for dealing in drugs. The woman arriving from Sao Paaulo was arrested at the O R Tambo International Airport after she was found in possession of drugs concealed in books in her check-in luggage.

The South African Police Service (SAPS) reports that the drugs, believed to be cocaine weighed over 4 kilograms have an estimated value of over 1 million South African Rand (over 8 million Kenyan Shilling). The woman, South African by nationality arrived on board South African Airways on 18 July 2015. She is expected to appear in Kemptom Park Magistrate court on Monday 20 July 2015.
