
2015 Confederation of African Football (CAF) Referee of the Year nominee, Janny Sikazwe, has picked to officiate the Club World Cup final between Real Madrid and Kashima Antlers at the International Stadium Yokohama. The 37 year Zambian received the nod ahead of The Gambian Bakary Gassama.
It will not be the first time the Zambian official will be in charge of a game the Club World Championship; he refereed the game between Kashima Antlers and Auckland City, which ended 2-1 in favour of the Japanese. It will however be his first involving the Spanish Giants Real Madrid.
The Club World Cup finals will be played International Stadium Yokohama on Sunday, December 18, 2016.
