The Federal Government (FG) on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 reversed the suspension of the Managing Director of Rural Electricity Agency (REA), Mrs. Damilola Ogunbiyi.
Ogunbiyi was suspended on December 31 over alleged malpractices by the Minister of Power, Sale Mamman.
The FG, however, accepted her resignation to enable her to take up her new role in the United Nation.
“Her resignation effective December 31, 2019, has been accepted to enable her to take up her new United Nations appointment,” the presidency tweeted.
